Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a popular singer-songwriter and pop artist for the past 20 years. Swift's stories of teenage love and heartbreaks have earned her wide acclaim during the 21st Century. Swift began to show an interest in the music industry at a young age. Swift's career grew rapidly beyond the roles of children's entertainers, and her debut public performance before a crowd of thousands. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and next year, she picked up a guitar and began to write songs. Swift got inspiration from musicians who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks to create original material which reflected the alienation she experienced at the age of thirteen. Swift was forced to move from Pennsylvania along with her parents to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she reached 13 and decided to spend greater time in wooing the bands of the country genre in Nashville.
